Shallow tanks & top refuelling have spillage & underfilling problems. The C2GO-FPSTM is the only “all in one” over-fill protection system which is easily fitted to diesel powered pumps, lighting plants & locomotives without hotwork or major re- fabrication of fuel tanks.

C2GO-FPSTM Works on a simple principle of differential pressure between inlet and outlet port. When the outlet port becomes saturated (full level reached) the balance of pressure changes and forces a hydraulic shift which closes the port. The port cannot be opened again until the outlet is no longer saturated.

The C2GO-FP80TM has 8 equally spaced 3 mm holes around the circumference of the valve for air venting. These can be closed off if required should an external venting apparatus already be installed. The C2GO-FP80TM has an 80mm Female BSP or NPT thread which couples easily to the fill neck of most fuel tanks. This eliminates the need for any hot work to the tank and makes fitting the unit very simple, fast and inexpensive.

CONFIGURATION ARRANGEMENTS

PUMPS

1. Fit directly to the top the tank.

2. Note: If the tank has a 50mm inlet an additional 80mm diameter x 300mm pipe will need to be fitted to allow for sufficient flow and ullage around the valve.

3. Remote fitting running an 50mm hose or pipe will allow for remote filling but the valve needs to be fitted to the inlet of the tank.

LIGHT PLANTS

1. Depending on the type of light plant there may be sufficient space to mount directly onto the fuel tanks as per Pump configuration. However remote fitting is usually the most appropriate.

2. Remote fitting running an 80mm hose to the inlet of the tank. Note the tank and Hose will completely fill so any existing vents fitted to the tank will need to raised above the fill point or removed and sealed.

LOCOMOTIVE

1. For normal Flow rates the C2GO-FP80 screws directly on the filler neck, replacing the filler cap, while remaining within the profile of the locomotive. Splash fill refuelling can still take place, at locations currently not fitted with Dry Break High Flow Nozzles, by temporarily removing the C2GO-FP80.

2. For high flow rates (above 800 lpm) it is recommended that tanks are fitted with additional venting to allow a higher air escape flowrate during refuelling to prevent tank pressurisation & premature shutdown of nozzles.

Accurate fluid measurement is of vital importance to the success of any energy management system. C2G’s Level Logic System is a tank level gauging system capable of accurately measuring tank volume to within 0.1 litres. Factoring in density, temperature and height, C2G AMTAILS provides a precise and accurate volume reading on fluid.
